As the Area Sales Manager, you will be responsible for building and executing strategies to establish Disproquima as a key player in the Turkish food ingredients distribution market. You will be instrumental in identifying and developing relationships with potential suppliers and customers, attending industry events, and promoting the Disproquima brand. Your role will include not only driving sales but also increasing market penetration, expanding our supplier network, and building long-term relationships with key stakeholders in the food industry.

The functions will be the following among others:

  • Develop and implement a comprehensive sales strategy to build Disproquima’s brand presence and market share in Turkey.
  • Identify and establish relationships with potential suppliers of food ingredients and raw materials together with product managers in global team.
  • Work to ensure the introduction and integration of new suppliers and products into the market.
  • Build and nurture strong relationships with existing and potential customers.
  • Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and customer preferences to provide actionable insights and adapt strategies accordingly.
  • Represent Disproquima at local food industry fairs, trade shows, and networking events.
  • Prepare detailed sales reports, forecasts, and updates on business development activities, tracking progress against objectives
  • Report visits and projects in CRM.
  • Ensure all operations comply with local regulations, quality standards, and Disproquima’s internal policies.

Who are we looking for?

  • Technical education: a degree in Food Technology, Food Engineering, Biology, Nutrition or similar.
  • At least 5 years of experience working in sales, preferibly within food ingredients, distribution or related industries.
  • Knowledge of the Turkish food industry, market dynamics, and competitive landscape.
  • Good communication skills in English (written and oral).
  • Availability to travel and visit customers.
  • Enthusiast, motivated and organized.
